Mild winters, short snow
Victoria Gonzales, the City station in Environment Canada's 1991–2020 normals, averages 5.8 °C in January and 16.3 °C in July, with 674.9 mm of precipitation a year and 10.4 nights at or below freezing. At Victoria airport, 38.6 cm of snow falls on 7.4 days a year, and rain on 155.5 days. When snow does land, the City puts protected bicycle lanes in its third roadway priority and the Galloping Goose and harbour walkways in its third sidewalk priority, and warns that clearing can take several days after the snow stops.
Trails out of town
The City counts over 40 km of All Ages and Abilities bike routes and keeps extending them. The Capital Regional District runs the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, 55 km from Victoria to Sooke on a former First World War freight railway and part of the Trans Canada Trail, and the 29 km Lochside Regional Trail from Saanich to the BC Ferries terminal at Swartz Bay. The E&N Rail Trail toward Langford is still being built. The CRD counted 4.4 million visits to its regional trails in 2025, up 7.2% on 2024.

Questions
Is there a Fast Ebikes showroom in Victoria, B.C.?
No. We sell online only, so there is no Victoria showroom, no test rides and no pickup. Your e-bike ships free to your address, or to a local bike shop you choose and book for assembly. Each product page lists motor type, battery Wh, tire size, weight and payload, so you can compare before you order.
Do you sell electric cargo bikes for Victoria?
Yes. The Velotric GoMad is a compact cargo e-bike with an integrated rear rack, a 227 kg payload rating and 20 x 4.0 in fat tires, and the cargo collection shows the rest. Check each payload rating against your full load: rider, child seat and bags together, not the bags alone.
Is a folding e-bike a good fit in Victoria?
It suits riders who keep a bike in a small suite or drive it to a trailhead on the Galloping Goose or the Lochside Regional Trail. The Taubik Monaco S folds at the frame and handlebars and has a low step-through frame. It still weighs 31.8 kg, so check every folding model's weight before you plan to lift it.
Who repairs or assembles an e-bike in Victoria?
A bike shop of your choice. You can have the order shipped straight to a local bike shop you book for assembly, and the same shop can handle tune-ups later. If it comes to your home instead, film the box before opening it, then check the frame, wheels and battery before you start assembly.
How long does delivery to Victoria take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and shipping takes 2–7 business days depending on where you are located. On a long haul, tracking may sit without a new scan for up to 5 days, which the shipping policy calls normal; if it looks stuck, tell us and we will look into it.
