One passenger or a full load of shopping fits on the Abound SR, a compact step-through cargo e-bike that Aventon rates for 200 kg in total. Its 6061 aluminum frame uses a one-piece die-cast front triangle and carries a 733 Wh battery inside.

- 750 W rear hub: a Shengyi motor with 1188 W peak and 80 Nm, a left-hand throttle, and Sensor Switch to choose torque or cadence pedal sensing.
- Battery: 36V 20Ah, 733 Wh, LG 21700 cells, certified to UL 2271 and removable without a key; Aventon rates it for up to 97 km in Eco mode.
- Made for loads: 200 kg total, 65 kg on the rear rack, a 36.3 kg bike, with rear wheel mesh guards and a kickstand e-lock included.
- Brakes: Tektro HD-E3520 hydraulic discs on a 180 mm front and 203 mm rear rotor.
- Ride: a 50 mm fork with adjustable lockout, a 50 mm suspension seatpost, 20 x 3.0 in tires with reflective sidewalls and Shimano Altus 8-speed gears.
