After knee surgery my doctor said to get moving again and this bike made it painless. Pedal assist means I can ride without strain and still get a real workout in.
I work rotating shifts at a plant in Hamilton and needed something that would not need constant fussing. This bike has been dead simple: charge it, ride it, repeat. The battery gets me to work and back with room to spare even after a long night shift. Fat tires handle the gravel shortcut I take to shave five minutes off my commute. Setup out of the box took maybe twenty minutes, nothing complicated. It has held up fine through some rough weather days without any issues. The motor has enough torque to get up the overpass without breaking a sweat before a twelve hour shift. Only thing I would add myself is a better light for the darker months, but that is an easy fix.
Takes the gravel road out to our cottage without issue and the fat tires grip loose dirt really well. Perfect for hauling gear down to the dock.
I have owned a couple of mid-range ebikes before this one and the C20 Lite holds its own against bikes twice the price. The fat tires give way more confidence on loose gravel around Victoria than my previous bike's narrower tires ever did. Battery range has been consistent, no sudden drop offs partway through a ride. Shifting is basic but does the job fine for the terrain I ride.
