Folding makes a trike more compact, not lighter. Listed weights run from 39.0 kg on the Velotric Triker and EUNORAU ONE-TRIKE 2.0 to 57.0 kg on the Meet One Breeze 2.0, so picture every lift: front steps, a curb, the lip of a trunk. The Triker's battery is removable, which lightens the lift.
The EUNORAU ONE-TRIKE 2.0 folds at the frame and at the stem. Addmotor says the Citytri E-310 folds in three steps, to 115 x 86 x 72.9 cm (length, width, height; Standard). Folded sizes for the others aren't in our listings, so measure the storage spot and the trunk or hatch opening, and contact us before you order.
A trike that doesn't tilt tips more easily in corners and on uneven or sloping ground, so slow down before you turn.
Check which wheels have discs and whether a parking brake keeps the trike from rolling on a slope. Listed max loads run from 127 kg to 227 kg and have to cover the rider plus cargo.

Check the step-over: listed figures are 13.8 in (351 mm) on the Addmotor Citytri E-310 (Standard), 14 in (356 mm) on the MEIGI SILVERADO models and 370 mm on the Velotric Triker. The Triker, Citytri E-310, MG2302-SILVERADO, SpytanX and Meet One Breeze 2.0 list a parking brake, and the Breeze 2.0 has a more reclined seat.
