From the airport to the lake
The City of Mississauga counts approximately 500 km of multi-use trails, park paths, bicycle lanes and signed bike routes. At the south end, the city has 22 km of Lake Ontario waterfront, and the Waterfront Trail's Mississauga stretch runs 21.8 km: mostly paved off-road trail, with about 7 km on residential streets, past the cafés and restaurants of Port Credit and Lakeshore Road.
Comfort for longer rides
For longer, relaxed rides, a low frame and a suspension fork help. The Taubik Vista 26 has an ultra-low step-through frame, 26 x 1.9 in CST C1446 commuter tires, a Mozo Peak 26 coil fork with 60 mm of travel, a torque sensor and a 706 Wh Samsung battery. The EUNORAU META275 2.0 runs wider 27.5 x 2.6 in tires and a 720 Wh battery, with room for an optional second 48V 15Ah battery, and hydraulic disc brakes with motor cut-off levers. More picks: long-range e-bikes.
A twelve-month riding city
Winter here is moderate. Environment Canada's 1991–2020 normals for Toronto Pearson, which sits in Mississauga, give a January daily average of −5.0 °C, 49.5 days a year that stay at or below 0 °C and 114.5 cm of snowfall. Once 5 cm or more falls, the City clears roads, sidewalks, trails, bus stops, bike lanes and crossings; on priority roads and priority sidewalks, 5 to 15 cm is plowed and salted within 12 hours after the snow ends. In winter 2025–26, crews cleared 127 km of roadside multi-use trails and 73 km of bike lanes.
The City's shared e-bike system, launched on June 21, 2024 with up to 300 shared e-bikes, alongside 900 e-scooters, at more than 600 locations, keeps its e-bikes running year-round, while the e-scooters retire for the winter.

Questions
Is there an e-bike store in Mississauga?
Not one of ours. Fast Ebikes sells only online, so there's no Mississauga showroom, test ride or pickup counter. You order from this page, and the bike ships free to your address or to a local bike shop you choose. Specs on the product pages, such as frame, tires and battery Wh, help you narrow it down.
Should I use Mississauga's shared e-bikes or buy my own?
The City's shared e-bike system is a handy way to try pedal assist, and its e-bikes run all year. Owning one gets you a frame type and size that fit you, a battery you charge at home, and a rack or bags set up for your own trips. Our product pages list the frame style and tire size of each bike.
Is winter e-bike riding practical in Mississauga?
For many trips, yes. Toronto Pearson, in Mississauga, averages 49.5 days a year that stay at or below 0 °C and 114.5 cm of snow (Environment Canada, 1991–2020). The City clears trails and bike lanes once 5 cm falls, and the shared e-bikes keep running all winter. Wider tires, such as the 27.5 x 2.6 in tires on the EUNORAU META275 2.0, are worth a look.
How long does delivery to Mississauga take?
Two steps: processing, which takes 1–3 business days, then shipping, which takes 2–7 business days depending on location. A tracking number arrives by email once the order is on its way. On long hauls, tracking can pause for up to 5 days without a new scan; that is normal.
Where can I get an e-bike assembled or repaired in Mississauga?
At a local bike shop you pick. We can deliver the order straight to that shop, and you book the assembly with them; a shop you trust is also the place for later service. Building it at home instead? Take photos or a video of the box before opening it, and check every part first.
